I started this blog thing because I wanted to tell amusing stories about life in Colorado.  It’s just meant to be a distraction from the shitshow of reality in which we all currently find ourselves.  If a few people visit every now and then and find some interest or comfort in my collection of stories and pictures then I’m satisfied. I don’t have any particular ambition other than to share.

But what I’ve discovered from this modest endeavor is, putting something out on the innerweb requires some minimal baseline of knowledge to ensure that the random musings in my head reach my fingers and go in the right direction to translate into something readable by your eyeballs. Knowledge of which I have only a rudimentary and recent understanding.  The sole contents of my IT problem-solving toolkit up to this point, has been to turn the computer off and back on. I’ve been deeply disappointed to discover that this is ineffectual in fixing Internet problems.

A couple of you good readers have commented that while you enjoy the website, you also have jobs and your Zoom meeting is taking up your main monitor and Outlook is on the other one so you just don’t have the video real estate to be surfing the web all day waiting for the latest ramblings from Colorado. How about some kind of email notification when something new shows up?

Seems like a reasonable request, and if nothing else I aim to please. So without further delay, here’s how to sign up to get your very own email notifications from Seekingtimberline.com!  It only took me two weeks to figure out.

All you have to do is register on my website by clicking on the Registration link under the picture on the home page.

If you’re on a computer:

If you’re on a phone:

When the registration screen comes up enter your email, create a password and click Submit.  Easy!

Thanks for reading.
