Seeking Timberline is one year old today! This time last year we were packing up to leave for Colorado and I started this blog to describe what life looks like post-employment and to share stories with anyone who might be interested. Fifty-four posts and one year later and here we are.
I read an article the other day about how blogging is a dying form of communication, a remnant of the early 2000’s that has outlived its usefulness. Now days it’s all about the Twittergram Tok. But I don’t know, I still like the ability to share a story, something longer than 280 characters. Maybe I’m out of step with the trend but that’s ok with me, story of my life to be honest. I’m not here to sell something, so there’s no pressure to monetize this site. I find the process itself cathartic, something to fill my time and to keep me from becoming a greeter at Walmart. Now days, we could all use some of that. And if you, good reader, find some enjoyment or glean some information from my Colorado-themed ramblings then all the better. Stop by, say “hi” whenever you need a break from the course of your day.
Many thanks to all of you that have been reading. And a special thanks to the handful of you that have also shared your comments. Always appreciated!
Don’t stop blogging ! ☺️☺️☺️
Happy “Blog-irthday” 🎉
