One of the things I’ve been most interested in trying now that we’re in CO is fat biking, specifically fat biking on snow.  

I mean, come on, this looks like a total hoot!

So we ventured up to Leadville, where they know their fat bikes, and the good folks at Cycles of Life hooked me up with my newest ride, a Borealis Crestone.  Carbon frame, SRAM GX shifty bits, HED wheels and all sorts of other wiz-bang technology.  Sweeeet!  It’s completely different from anything I’ve ever thrown a leg over.  Fun, fun, fun!  

Fat bikes, because it’s winter and you can’t ski every day!
